Columbus Business Solutions positions itself to expand Cloud-Based Services in Puerto Rico

GUANYNABO, PUERTO RICO—(December 6, 2012)– Columbus Business Solutions (“CBS”), the business services brand of Columbus International (“Columbus”) is pleased to announce the promotion of Felix Lugo to the position of Country Manager for its Puerto Rico operation, positioning itself to fulfill its cloud expansion plans in the country.
Columbus is investing heavily in the deployment of its cloud portfolio in countries across the region. With dramatic growth strategies being implemented across its operations in Panama, Honduras, Guatemala, El Salvador, Jamaica, Trinidad and Grenada, Dominican Republic and for the past two years in Puerto Rico.
As Country Manager, Lugo will be charged with the responsibility of ensuring the company’s growth and remaining aligned with the expansion strategy for cloud services in Puerto Rico.
Lugo is a seasoned executive with more than 20 years of experience in telecommunications and achievements in the area of finance, sales and marketing. Prior to joining Columbus in 2010 as Sales Manager, Lugo had gained experience in both local and international companies, including WorldCom and Centennial de Puerto Rico.
