Currently, Panama is number one in Latin America in the use of smartphones and according to ECLAC, pays less for Internet use. As for this year, Panama wants to reach 1500 free Internet access points to achieve 90% coverage of the population. In June 2014, Balboas will invest 500 million for connectivity in the area.
